The
Children of Angel's House Enjoy Warm,
Family Atmosphere
Angel's House opened it's door to children on June 21, 2004. Currently licensed to accommodate a maximum of ten children, there have been from 6 to 10 children who have been residents since it opened. Some only stay temporarily and are later placed with relatives, but an average of seven children live at Angel's House on a daily basis. Over 70 children have sought safe haven in our facility since it opened its
doors .... Thanks
to our loyal
corporate and
community supporters,
Angel's House
has provided over
7000
days and nights
of care to
children that
needed a safe
place to reside
....
Angel's House runs just like a home with the group leaders acting as house parents. It is heartwarming to go there and smell the meals being prepared and watch as the children play the X-Box, do homework or watch television.
The children's ages range from seven to fifteen. All are good kids who seem to respect the rules and genuinely enjoy the relaxed family atmosphere that surrounds them. They seem to enjoy living at Angel's House even though they are not at home with their parents.
We continue to need money. It is estimated that we will have to raise between $60,000 to $100,000 dollars each year just to meet expenses.
Volunteer groups are being organized to help take care of the needs that seem always to be arising. A campaign
is
underway
to enlist one hundred people to commit to a donation of $1,000 per year and we are continuing to ask for major corporations and foundations to give monetary assistance.
Any
amount of cash donations
are always
appreciated.
Donations may be made in
honor or memory of a
loved one.
Other
ways you can help...
It is a sad but true fact that
children come to
Angel's House with only the clothes on their
backs. VISA gift
cards or gift cards
from Target, Walmart or
other department stores
are always appreciated
as this enables the
children to purchase
their own personal items
and clothing.
Please know that we are very grateful for your generous support for Angel's House.

Angel's House is home to up to 10 children between the ages of 5 to 18. The home looks like any other family home. There are no identifying signs on the property and the outside appearance is professionally landscaped and maintained. Georgia Baptist Children's home is providing qualified parents for the children and oversees the operation of the home.
