What is the Goal for the Capital Campaign?
It has been strongly advised that we secure enough funds to cover all costs for this facility for the first two years as we anticipate initial state per diems to be minimal. Therefore, we have established a goal of one million dollars based on estimates for construction costs, furnishing, equipment, appliances, landscaping, operation/management expenses, etc.
Can I Make a Gift, Other Than Cash, To the Campaign?
Gifts of appreciated stocks and bonds, as well as real estate, commodities and insurance are most welcome. Your attorney or tax advisor can assist you in gaining the maximum benefit from such a donation.
Are There Other Ways to Participate?
Y ou can support the shelter in a variety of other ways:
* Donate gifts-in-kind such as furniture, computers, kitchen and laundry appliances, play ground or lawn equipment, etc.
* Use corporate matching gift programs to double or even triple your gift.
* Help us make connections with any corporate or foundation funding opportunities
