According to our local officials at Social services and Foster care, we are in a crisis situation because there are not enough local foster homes in Coweta county to handle the children in need.
With the help of the caring citizens of Coweta county a solution for this problem has been found and help is needed to keep the shelter going. Angel's House is an organization that is dedicated to maintaining the home, recently built by generous donation, so that emergency shelter will be available to children who need a comfortable place to stay and be nurtured and cared for between the time they must leave their homes until a permanent placement can be found.
Together, with the help of corporations, foundations, churches, community groups, and concerned individuals locally and throughout the state, this dream has become a reality. This “home” will stand for generations, enabling the abused and neglected children in this county to withstand and triumph over the painful traumas of their lives.
