DONATION FACTS:
What Do We Do With Our Cash Donations?
100% of all donations are used to pay for operating expenses of the shelter.
A large part of these expenses include our contract expenses with Georgia Baptist Children’s Home. Georgia Baptist is licensed to run the home and supplies us with our house parents and administrative staff. Donations are also used to pay for routine maintenance expenses such as home repair, lawn care, and appliances. As with any home, we have expenses for utilities and food. As with any “family” our girls need school supplies, clothing, shoes, soap, shampoo, and other personal hygiene items.

Although we do receive some state funding, it only partially covers the expenses necessary to operate Angel’s House. We are very blessed to have continued support from our donors which enables us to keep our doors open to children who are desperate for a safe place to call “home”.

Can I Make a Gift, Other Than Cash?
Gifts of appreciated stocks and bonds, as well as real estate, commodities and insurance are most welcome. Your attorney or tax advisor can assist you in gaining the maximum benefit from such a donation.

Are There Other Ways to Participate?
You can support the shelter in a variety of other ways:
- Use corporate matching gift programs to double or even triple your gift.
- Help us make connections with any corporate or foundation funding opportunities
- See our Needs & Wish list for donations
